Barça to Host Inaugural Match at Upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Basque side in domestic competition two and a half years after they moved out so building work could begin.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.
